My parents came over and spent most of Halloween with the kids. They got to see outfit changes as Katy decided what she wanted to be this year...She finally decided right when the trick-or-treaters started to show up at the house. She was Frankenstein Girl! She was soooooo cute and Tatum was a cute little bumblebee, and Jasmyne was the female version of the Mad Hatter!
We started off the day making pudding cups (which I am embarrassed to admit that I forgot in the fridge in the garage...oops) and homemade Cracker Jax popcorn, and a brownie/chocolate chip cookie pizza which was a big hit with the parents of trick-or-treaters that visited our driveway party :) Normally we go to a col-de-sac party, this year we stayed home and passed out candy at the request of our soon to be 4 year old. Immediately after Halloween ended, Katy got excited for Christmas! Talk about pressure! Now I need to get my Halloween decor down to decorate for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Which means I also need to start planning what I am going to make for my 2nd annual COOKIE EXCHANGE. Who's in???
On a side note: I saved more money Sunday morning when I went to buy my Sunday papers...I got cereal at about .40 cents a box and I got 8 boxes :) Kids are thrilled...kitchen is not. It is bursting at the seams with boxes of cereal that I have been getting so cheap. And I let my parents take home 2 boxes of toothpaste and dish soap and a bottle of pure vanilla.

Uploaded 1st video to YOU TUBE
It is Katy singing about wanting to be famous and then suddenly she turns the song into one about killing anybody or anything....I tried to get her to stop saying that but she wouldn't listen. Finally I told her to sing about pretty things and she said...Well you will just have to watch to hear the pretty thing she decides to say :)

Started a new project today!! :)
A couple weeks ago I took my first order for doing vinyl lettering on a van. I was nervous about it because I don't have a lot of choices for lettering, but they were pretty easy going about the whole thing.
It took over a week for all the supplies to come in....but here I am getting started with all my supplies needed to make vinyl lettering.
The letters are to be 8 inches for the name and 4 inches for the rest of the wording. They are having a lot put on so this will be a lot of work especially since it is going on both sides of the van...
I am taking during pictures, I just hope I remember to take after pictures! I will be putting the wording on the van tomorrow morning right after we drop off the kids at school.
Wish me luck!
I will post pictures later...
UPDATE: I have now been at this all day...I never thought it would be soooooo much work! I am wore OUT! I need to have this done and ready to put on the truck by tomorrow morning, so no time for complaining. I wish I had more than 1 12x24 cutting mat and that I could have more set up to cut. I could have done it all before hand and saved them....I am learning! But definitely will have to buy another large cutting mat!
LAST UPDATE (for the night): So, todays little project turned into a BIG PAIN IN THE BEHIND! My customer requested 8 inch letters, and seeing as how I don't do this for a living, I didn't happen to think that once the letters were all said and done (and automatically adjusted for size by my program according to the height I entered in) that the name of the business would be WAAAAAYYYY TOOOOO LOOONNNNNNNG for the van! So I made brand new letters for my project! And at 9pm!!! Yikes...talk about pushing it to the last minute (which my husband not so kindly pointed out to me!) So, what took me all day to do incorrectly, took me not even 15 mins to do CORRECTLY! And without my husband having to "bail me out".
Lessons Learned:
I should have gotten the dimensions of the van before even starting!
Then figured out exactly how long I wanted the lettering to be - AGAIN Before Starting!!!
Next time I will create each page that I will be cutting out prior to sitting down to do the actually cutting!
AND I will be going out to buy 1 - if not 2 extra 12x24 cutting mats to make life so much easier!
I can not stress this rule enough ---> carpenters follow the rule measure twice - cut ONCE...this fits in very nicely here, don't you think???
Next time will be better - I promise. That is if there is a next time :)

RUBBERMAID REVEAL!!!
I saw the commercial yesterday for this new mop that Rubbermaid just came out with and I just had to have it. I still use the mop that you have to wring out...which helps me get the floor real clean, but if I am having guest over that I just found out about, I want something that will only take a few seconds to whip out and be able to clean the floor up real quick! My daughter had a blast pushing it around the floor at the store with the wrapping still on it! She wants to do my floor now! I can't wait to give it a whirl and since I can use my own cleaner, I know that the floor will be getting clean!
At Target they have it on sale for 19.95 - $5 off the regular price and they have the extra pads and cleaner bottles for 5.99 each.
