So, this past weekend I officially started using Coupon Sense. I never knew how much money I would save doing this. First Dave and I went to Fry's and did some shopping for necessities and coupon stuff. We spent $59 but saved..........$107!!! I was floored and we got soooo much stuff. I got 8 tubes of toothpaste for 98 cents. 3 small bottles of Dawn dish soap for FREE! 5 bottles of Dial hand soap FREE! 2 FREE bottles of skinny water. And lots of other great deals!
So 54 items means each item cost 1.09 and we even got ground beef, a large pork loin, some donuts, lots of pillsbury biscuits, broccoli, asparagus, oranges, apples, and a case of tomato sauce which was 8.17.
If you ask me, that is some awesome saving!!!
Yesterday we went to Safeway and Basha's and got more FREE stuff!
5 things of gum FREE
5 containers of tic-tacs FREE
8 Boxes of Pizza rolls for 50 cents each!
In total we spent: $36.71
And saved: $59.64
So 43 items total means that each item cost .85
Finally...Today I went to Albertson's and saved EVEN MORE $$$$
I bought 4 boxes of cereal and paid a total 2.04
Another 4 boxes of cereal for 2.29
and then...
2 more boxes of cereal, 2 boxes of fruit snacks, 6 boxes of pillsbury cookie mix, 5 bottles of McCormick PURE vanilla extract, a box of 6 fudge bars, and 6 caramel covered apples for 21.80. If you take the total number of items = 22 that is less than a dollar for each item or 99 cents each! Plus then a $3.00 coupon printed out for my next order!
Total for today 30 items at a total price of 26.13 = .87 each item
I think I am going to keep this up. Seems like a no brainer :)
Anyone need toothpaste??? We now have 10!!! unopened packages!
